Johnny Mowlem and Bonamy Grimes will reunite for another season this year as they spearhead Red River Sport’s challenge for the 2024 British Endurance Championship in association with Motorsport UK.

Forming a formidable partnership across a number of different categories down the years, Mowlem and Grimes will embark on the forthcoming season competing in Class C, behind the wheel of a Ferrari 458 Challenge.

Their relationship began 8 years ago, starting in the British Endurance Championship, (then known as Britcar) and they’ve since produced many star-studded performances across the national and world stage of endurance racing, culminating in the 2019/2020 World Endurance Championship and the 2020 Le Mans 24 hours, also in a Ferrari (488 GTE Evo).

Johnny Mowlem said, “It will be a joy to team up with Bon again in the BEC. We’ve have raced together across the world in so many different cars and championships with a lot of success, but we have had some of our happiest and most successful times together in this championship so it will be great fun to come back. Especially as Bon has moved on massively as a driver since we last competed here.

Bonamy Grimes said, “I’m very much looking forward to having some fun driving with Johnny again and competing in a great paddock.

The 2024 British Endurance Championship in association with Motorsport UK commences at Donington Park on Friday 29th March.
