Newbarn Racing are pleased to confirm that they will be entering all of the British Endurance Championship races in 2022. Newbarn have retained the services of both their drivers, brothers Adam and Callum Thompson, who have been with the team since Newbarn started racing in 2020.

In the last two years the team have learnt a lot and have used this experience in the preparation of their car for the coming season. The car, a Jaguar F Type V6 3 litre, is the same car but the team now have two race prepared engines from which to choose. The car has also been rebuilt following its accident at Brands.

The team’s aim this year is to achieve the reliability that has eluded them in their first two seasons. This task is made more challenging by the extended length of the races from one hour races to races lasting two or three hours.

Paul Murray, the team principal, says “Newbarn are pleased to be in the British Endurance Championship for the coming season and are excited about the opportunities to race starting at Silverstone on March 12th. We look forward to achieving the success levels to which we aspire.”
